Ultra SkyMarathon

There are races with length of the route that exceeds 43km and who have more than 2,000 meters in altitude. For example, on the Gran Paradiso was held this July 28 the first edition of the Royal Ultra SkyMarathon; another is that of Kima Trophy.

Ten years after his untimely death, the city of Varese reminds one of its most popular champions, a teacher of gymnastics who had love for the sport in the blood. Fiorella Noseda announced his passion for students and young athletes with skiing courses, youth games, tournaments school. Great athlete, his eclectic work was divided mainly between bicycle racing, archery and skiing. An accident in 1998 has interrupted the dream.

The association Kima is a non-profit association founded in 1994 in Val Masino, in memory of Pierangelo Marchetti Kima, mountain guide and rescuer who died during a rescue.
